SANTA BARBARA — A competitive bodybuilder championship winner and certified fitness trainer, CLL teacher Mikki Reilly will guide you through a regimen of foam rolling and stretching and help you target body areas in need of deep tissue release.
Muscle tightness is among the most common reasons many of us fail to reach fitness goals. Foam rolling is a simple, cost-effective way to relieve this tension. More about this vital process is covered in a three-part workshop Wednesdays July 12-26.
Experiencing muscle tightness?
- Apply pressure to a tight, tender area of the muscle using a foam roller for one or two minutes.
- This helps release adhesions, increase blood flow to the area and improves the quality of the surrounding tissue, decreasing pain and helping you move more easily.
Join us at the CLL to explore how injuries can be avoided through proper stretching and foam rolling. Reilly will demonstrate how this simple but effective technique will provide relief and increased mobility and flexibility that can change your life.
