July 11 — Central Coast Veterans Memorial Museum to present ‘Lost at Sea: Loss and Remembrance’

If you have not yet attended a “Lost at Sea” Exhibit Talk, The Veterans Museum invites you to attend the upcoming presentation on Tuesday, July 11th at 5:30 pm, in San Luis Obispo.

This special, temporary exhibit honors and remembers stories of perilous military conflicts and natural disasters through history, above and below the sea.

Presented by Veterans Museum docents, Navy Surface Ship and Submarine Veterans, the Exhibit Talk will including stories of the USS Thresher, USS Scorpion, “The Lost 52”, USS Indianapolis, The Honda Point Disaster, and others.

The exhibit opened on Memorial Day at the Veterans Museum in San Luis Obispo, with over 250 visitors attending and touring the museum. If you missed the Memorial Day exhibit talk, the presentation will be repeated through the summer months.
