Jan. 27 — Blue Skies Listening Tour will address domestic violence in San Luis Obispo community

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY – The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence will bring its Blue Skies Listening Tour to San Luis Obispo on January 27. The tour will provide opportunities for the community to gather and share creative, practical ideas about what is needed to address domestic violence in San Luis Obispo, raising up what’s currently working, and illuminating what’s missing.

The tour will convene at the San Luis Obispo County Library from 10 am to 1 pm on Friday, January 27. Survivors and concerned community members, representatives from domestic violence programs, and leaders from related causes and groups are encouraged to participate.

“We are excited about this opportunity to gather feedback from the community,” Jennifer Adams, Executive Director at RISE, said. “RISE is committed to programs and services that support our vision of a community free from sexual and intimate partner violence.”

This will be the first time the Blue Skies Listening Tour has made a stop in San Luis Obispo County. To register for the event, visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BlueSkies2ndSeries.
