Feb. 18 — Santa Paula Art Museum announces upcoming classes

Adventures in Abstraction (Ages 16+)

This four-part course starts Saturday, February 18, 2023,

from 11 AM to 2 PM

$145 for all four classes

Become an abstract artist (just like Mary Neville!) during the upcoming, four-part Adventures in Abstraction (Ages 16+) course at SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center. Teaching artist Jem Morris will lead you in hands-on, media-rich projects that will introduce tips, tricks, strategies, and ideas to foster your inner abstract artist. Each class will also feature a discussion of famous abstract masterpieces led by teaching artist Aaron McDonald. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided. Space is limited. Advance registration is required.

ArtSPARK offers K-12 classrooms an interactive tour of the Museum’s current exhibitions, followed by a hands-on art lesson at our Cole Creativity Center.
