Jan. 18 — Ventura County Women’s March: Fighting For Our Future

VENTURA — Justice For All Ventura County’s 9th annual Women’s March & Rally will be held in Plaza Park, downtown Ventura, on Saturday, January 18, 2025. The event’s rallying cry, “We’re Fighting For Our Future”, reflects broad concern that long-held rights and freedoms – many held for over half a century – are at risk.

The event begins at 10:00 am with music and booths from 20 non-profit organizations.  Ventura County Supervisor Vianey Lopez and other elected officials will address the assembly from 10:30 to 11:15, followed by an organized march through downtown Ventura. After the march, attendees are invited back to Plaza Park to visit the information tables and participate in presentations provided by Swap Meet Justice – Know Your Rights, Family Civics League/CAUSE – Youth and Family, and Indivisible Ventura – Local Issues and Communicating with Your Electeds.

“Political fatigue has been widespread following the November election. It’s time to re-engage, and speaking up for our rights is the perfect place to start. This day will be a demonstration of our community’s commitment to democracy.”, asserted Shane Meserve, JFAVC president.

Justice For All Ventura County is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with the mission to motivate, educate, connect, and mobilize people to actively engage in their government to support justice for all. justiceforallvc.org
