SANTA BARBARA — To recognize their generous key supporters, on June 17, Hospice of Santa Barbara (HSB) launched the Shining Light Society. It is open to people who have donated $1,000 or more over the past few years or who have made a lifetime gift of more than $20,000 and/or who have made a commitment to HSB in their estate plan. Hosted at the beautiful home of Dr. Stephen Hosea, more than 60 guests enjoyed wine and appetizers. HSB staff expressed their gratitude to the Shining Light Society members for their support, which enables HSB to offer services free-of-charge to those who are grieving the death of a loved one or experiencing serious illness.
