VENTURA — A filled to the brim showcase of 24,000 handmade creations, the 27th Annual Ventura Harvest Festival® Original Art & Craft show gets underway Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Seaside Park at the beach becomes a hub of activities with shopping, live entertainment, contests, strolling entertainers, and a Kidzone with a pumpkin patch.
It’s the west coast’s largest indoor arts & crafts showcase that never disappoints. As a juried showcase, the works of more than 300 exhibitors are on display with jewelry, woodwork, home décor, hand-woven clothing and accessories, ornaments, specialty foods and sauces, furniture, photography, blown glass, sculptures, and more. There are crafting demonstrations, and many of the artists can personalize items for that perfect gift.
“For us, it’s all about creating a memorable fall event that friends and families look forward to sharing together,” says Harvest Festival new owner and event veteran Nancy Glenn. “It’s a unique personalized experience when patrons interact with the artists. They appreciate the time and energies that go into creating something unique that’s not manufactured.”
Fall awakens in full splendor with the Harvest Festival shopping and entertainment experience. Tickets are good for the entire weekend just in case you can’t get enough.
