CAMARILLO — As a program specialist for EDC-VC’s Small Business Development Center since 2014, Alondra Gaytan helps assess small business owners and innovators seeking professional/technical assistance and connects them with the appropriate resources, including SBDC’s business advisors who provide free one-on-one consulting to businesses in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. In addition, Alondra coordinates with EDC-VC’s key programs, including the EDC-VC loan program, to provide resources to international trade businesses and manufacturing programs.
An excellent communicator and strong team player, Alondra enjoys working with the SBDC team to support the needs of local businesses and inform clients about the valuable resources available to them through EDC-VC.
In addition to her full-time position with EDC-VC, Alondra is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Thomas Edison State University, and actively volunteers with both Big Brother Big Sisters of Ventura County and One Step a la Vez, a teen drop-in center in Fillmore helping with Food Share.
