Friendship Center — Matching memories

As the season of giving approaches, we at Friendship Center are excited to announce the launch of our Matching Memories campaign, a special initiative to raise funds for our nonprofit and help continue the meaningful work we do each day.

At Friendship Center, we strive to be a place where older adults with dementia feel safe, included, and supported, while also having fun and making lasting memories. For our members, it’s not just about the activities—it’s about creating an environment where they can continue to enjoy the things they once loved and also make new memories to cherish.

Through Matching Memories, we are raising funds to support our programs and activities that help our members reconnect with the things that bring them joy. For example, Bill, a former veterinarian, still gets the chance to interact with animals through our pet therapy sessions. Tanda, an incredible dancer, has the opportunity to enjoy live music and dance with her friends. Bob, a member who once enjoyed outdoor adventures with his family, can still take bike rides and experience the outdoors in a safe, comfortable environment.

Our programs are designed to encourage participation in meaningful activities like:

• Pet Therapy
• Live Music & Dance
• Travel Features
• Card Games & Social Interaction
• Bike Rides
• Art Therapy

From now through the end of the year, we invite you to join us in the Matching Memories campaign. Every gift you make will be matched, helping us raise the funds needed to continue providing these vital experiences for our members.
