Hello,

Although Friendship Center’s main mission is to provide compassionate care for seniors living with dementia, we don’t stop there. We know it takes a village to provide care for someone else, and it is often a spouse, adult child, or sibling who are key components of one’s support system. It is important to us that not only are our program attendees are cared for, but that their caregivers feel supported during their loved ones journey with dementia.

GIVE NOW TO SUPPORT OUR CAREGIVERS

Friendship Center has made it a priority to expand our services in order to care for them. Support we offer our at no cost for caregivers includes:

?Daily Caregiver Support Groups – specialist led support groups guiding caregivers on how to navigate their loved ones dementia journey

?Monthly Coffee for Caregivers – a space where caregivers can come and connect with other caregivers over coffee and pastries

? Practical Workshops – such as stress management, advance care planning, healing & remembrance, and many more

? Resources – an abundance of helpful resources provided by the Friendship Center library

? Special Events – fun and exciting events held at Friendship Center that caregivers can attend with their loved ones with peace of mind

DONATE TO KEEP OUR CAREGIVER OFFERINGS ABUNDANT

The cost of quality care is expensive, though necessary, and we want to lighten this load for our caregivers. On average it costs Friendship Center roughly $220 per member, per day to provide the kind of personalized support our seniors need and deserve. Most caregivers and loved ones pay less than 30% of that cost. Your donation helps bridge that gap so caregivers are supported in making sure their loved one is receiving compassionate, quality care.

We have them from 9-4, they have them the rest of the day. Thank you in not only supporting our members, but also caring for their families, friends, and anyone involved in our members’ journey with dementia.
