Free VITA tax services set for March 18 at Oxnard College

Free tax preparation services for taxpayers with annual incomes of $49,000 or less will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 18 at Oxnard College, 4000 So. Rose Ave., Room CSSC-101, Oxnard, Assemblymember Das Williams, 35th District, reported this week.

Services are provided by the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

Those attending should bring:

  • Valid Photo ID
  • Social Security Card or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number for all family members
  • All W-2’s, 1098’s, and 1099’s (if any)
  • Copy of the Prior-Year’s Tax Return
  • Bank Account and Routing Number for Direct Deposit of your refund or Direct Debit of your balance due
  • Other income/expense information
  • Total Tuition Fees & Expenses
  • Total Expenses Paid for Child/Day Care
  • Day Care Providers Identifying Number
  • Landlord’s name, address and phone number for the CA Renter’s Credit
