VENTURA COUNTY — As Hunger Action Month in September comes to an end, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® and Feeding America, a national hunger relief charity, will continue their commitment to fight hunger through their budding partnership with a can’t-miss promotion that will run throughout the fall season, FOOD Share, Ventura County’s local food bank, reported this week in a media release.
From Monday, Sept. 24, until Sunday, Nov. 25, coffee lovers in Ventura County will feel an extra shot of goodwill when they stop by the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® for their daily pick-me-up. Participating Ventura Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® locations will donate $1 from the purchase of each Harvest Blend coffee bag and gift card sold to FOOD Share, and Feeding America.
“We are so grateful to be included in this great partnership with the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® and Feeding America,” FOOD Share CEO, Bonnie Weigel, stated in the release. “Their generous contribution of 75 percent of the total proceeds to our community food bank will ensure the hungry in the community will be well taken care of for the fall and winter months.”
