First District Supervisor Das Williams — Countdown to Clean Air Day

Countdown to Clean Air Day
The countdown to Clean Air day is on! Clean Air Day is a call to action—a chance for each of us to protect our environment and ensure that future generations can enjoy the same clean air and thriving nature we do. Diaper Bank Awareness Month
This week I got to join the Santa Barbara County Commission for Women at LEAP Family Resource Center to pack Diapers. This kicks off LEAP’s Diaper Bank Awareness Month, which highlights the inability of families to afford enough clean diapers. You can support this work by donating diapers (they find 5 and 6 are most requested) or sponsoring the purchase of diapers for families in need through LEAP. My office is also pledging a donation to begin a cloth diaper program, and we are looking for matching donors. If you are interested, contact my office at 805-568-2155.
