VENTURA — Ferguson Case Orr Paterson LLP (FCOP), Ventura County’s largest law firm, is pleased to announce that Kymberley E. Peck has been elevated to partner. In her seven years at FCOP, Peck has built a strong practice focused primarily on family law, estate planning, probate and trust litigation.
“During her time with the firm, Kymberley has demonstrated herself to be dedicated to giving her clients expert legal counsel and strategic guidance,” said Michael Velthoen, FCOP managing partner. “In addition to her work as an attorney, Kymberley gives generously of her time, serving on several boards and providing pro bono legal service to members of our community. We proudly welcome her to the firm’s partnership.”
Peck’s recent trial successes evidence the expertise she offers her clients, particularly in family law and trust litigation crossover disputes. She has been named to the Rising Stars list of Super Lawyers for three consecutive years, 2016-2018, and was honored on the Pacific Coast Business Times’ 40 under 40 list in 2017. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Ventura County Bar Association and is a past-president of the Women Lawyers of Ventura County. Peck also serves on the board of directors for the Ventura County Library Foundation and is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
A Ventura County native, Peck earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA and her law degree from Southwestern Law School. She was a three-year recipient of the John J. Schumacher Scholarship and placed first in her class both in Water Law and International Trade Law. She is also a 2019 Ventura County Corporate Games bocce ball gold medalist.
