VENTURA COUNTY — What do our local elected officials do every day? What are the main challenges their office is facing? What skills do they need to be successful? These are just some of the questions that will be asked of County Supervisor Linda Parks, the last of six local elected officials to join League President Betsy Patterson for an informal online interview/Q&A presented by the League of Women Voters of Ventura County.
Local League president Betsy Patterson hopes to continue the series with other elected officials and volunteer civil servants: “The League of Women Voters encourages active engagement in our democracy. What better way to get started than learning about how our government works and what each office does to help the people of Ventura County?”
Tune into the final interview with County Supervisor Linda Parks on February 23 from 12-1pm. Registration is free but required at https://bit.ly/3rKAzHb
The full series of six interviews is available on the League’s Youtube channel at https://bit.ly/3nCVXev
