Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara Presents Nobody Owns The Beach – 10th Anniversary by David Horvitz Shop. Friday, February 21, 2025 12:00 – 5:00 pm at The Culver Hotel, Culver City

On the occasion of the Frieze Art Fair in Los Angeles and the many events of the accompanying art week, the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara presents a pop up of merchandise featuring artwork by David Horvitz. Nobody Owns The Beach celebrates the activist and community efforts in California to ensure access for all to our beautiful beaches. The artwork was originally commissioned for the 2015 MCASB exhibition Requiem for the Bibliophile.

We strongly encourage our communities to join us in Los Angeles next week – showing up, seeing and collecting art right now – is a critical way to support the arts community as it heals and rebuilds.
