An Evening with Judy Fambrough-Billingsley
Thursday, February 20 | 5:30 PM
Samuelson Chapel, Thousand Oaks Campus
As one of the many unwanted “brown babies” that came out of post-World War II Germany, Judy Fambrough-Billingsley in her book Too Brown to Keep recounts her life’s journey of unraveling the abandonment, secrets, and struggles that arose from being the daughter of a white German woman and black American soldier. Join us for an evening in discussion with Fambrough-Billingsley as she dives deeper in this inspirational story of love, healing, forgiveness, and triumph over incredible odds.
