SANTA PAULA — The Santa Paula Art Museum is turning 10 this year! To celebrate its first decade, the Museum will be hosting a big Birthday Bash on Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The event will be a fun filled evening featuring live music by Ryan Quinn and Sounds of the Collective. Quinn received a four-chair turn from judges Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton on NBC’s hit singing competition show, “The Voice.” Guests of the event will also enjoy cocktails, creative experiences (including a fortune teller and caricature artist), a champagne toast, and much more. Tickets are $50.00 per person and include one complimentary drink ticket and a complimentary champagne toast. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Santa Paula Art Museum, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Space is limited, so reservations are strongly recommended. “We are so proud of and grateful for everything that the Museum has accomplished over the past ten years and we are ready to celebrate with our community,” says Museum Executive Director Jennifer Heighton. Since opening its doors on Valentine’s Day 2010, the Santa Paula Art Museum has welcomed over 34,000 visitors in addition to the 13,000 local K-12 students it has served through its free ArtSPARK school tour program. The Museum has produced over 60 original exhibitions featuring nearly 3,000 works of art by over 900 California artists. In 2018, the Museum grew to encompass a second building, now its Cole Creativity Center, where the Museum has been able to expand its offerings to include monthly Free Family Days, a free Teen Art Group, and a wide range of art classes for children and adults. Heighton adds, “This birthday party will mark the end of an incredible first decade for the Museum and will launch us into the next. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Santa Paula Art Museum.”
