SANTA MARIA — Last Saturday, United Way and members of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce were invited to join Xfinity in the opening of one of their stores in Santa Maria at the Enos Ranch development.
United Way had a booth and was able to give out information about their services to the 300 plus attendees which were largely Hispanic families.
Both parents and children enjoyed activities and technology demos and participated in a meet-and-greet with former professional player Francisco “Kikin” Fonseca and soccer commentator Fernando Cevallos who hosted a competition among the kids on who would be able to scream “GOL” for the longest time.
