VENTURA — The annual Ventura County Fair Youth Poster Contest is here! Ventura County youth in grades 5-12 are eligible to enter and display their artistic talents, competing to be named the 2023 Youth Poster Contest Winner! Schools, youth organizations, church groups, and individual artists are encouraged to participate!
The Youth Poster Contest is a long-standing tradition in conjunction with the Ventura County Fair. The poster that best depicts the year’s theme will be used to advertise the 2023 Ventura County Fair in a variety of ways – from posters and merchandise, to social media and print. This year’s theme is “The Time of Your Life!” First, second, and third places will be awarded with cash prizes of $500, $250, and $100 respectively.
Entries for the Ventura County Fair Youth Poster Contest are accepted April 1, 2023 through April 28, 2023 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, 10 West Harbor Blvd., in Ventura, California. Contest guidelines are strictly enforced. Entries must be accompanied by an entry form and the $10 entry fee. Complete contest guidelines can be found at https://venturacountyfair.org/fair/.
Youth in Kindergarten through fourth grade are encouraged to enter their Fair-themed art in the Youth Department later this spring. Ribbons will be awarded and all entries displayed during the 2023 Ventura County Fair. Entry guides will be available in April. Stay tuned and watch for instructions to enter!
The Ventura County Fairgrounds is looking forward to the best fair yet August 2-13, 2023 where you’ll have ‘the time of your life!’
