El Concilio Family Services this week announced that it is extending the nomination deadline to Dec. 30 for its Latino Leadership Awards — “Excellence in Education” to honor individuals who have made an outstanding contribution in the field of education. The awards winners will be announced in February.
The 23rd annual awards gala will now be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center.
