EDC-VC SBDC update for Feb. 14

ECONOMIC IMPACT SURVEY AND BUSINESS RECOVERY RESOURCES
Dear SBDC Network,
I hope this email finds you well. We know the past couple months have been challenging as we have worked with many who have been impacted by disaster. In the midst of the tremendous need and response for assistance we have seen a resilient business community that still practices generosity by serving food to first responders and shares resources with their neighbor. We are hopeful for a strong recovery and are honored to participate in the process.
In collaboration with many of our partners, we are sharing an Economic Impact Survey that has been created to gather data on the effects of the Thomas Fire and subsequent mudflow on the local economy. Whether your business has been directly impacted or not, we ask that you take a few minutes to participate in the process.
ECONOMIC IMPACT SURVEY
An Economic Impact Survey has been created by Visit Santa Barbara, Women’s Economic Ventures, The Chamber of the SB Region and the Economic Forecast Project at UCSB. While the survey includes language specific to Santa Barbara County, it is intended to collect data across Ventura and Santa Barbara County. Please help us by participating and entering your zip code when prompted. The survey will only take a few minutes of your time but we request that you complete the survey by February 20th.
BUSINESS RECOVERY WORKSHOPS
In collaboration with Women’s Economic Ventures and the Small Business Administration, we are presenting informational meetings to help answer additional questions on recovery if you have not been to the local Disaster Recovery Center or are not familiar with business resources now available.
