EDC-VC Helps Kick Off StartUp Week Camarillo |
EDC-VC’s President and CEO Bruce Stenslie kicked off StartUp Week Camarillo, Dec. 4, as the opening keynote speaker, addressing a full house of entrepreneurs, innovators, startups, techies and investors interested in the trends and developments of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The event was hosted by Pharos Center for Innovation, which plans to hold additional events in 2018.

Creating Synergy: SBDC and iDreamspace

Recently, EDC-VC’s Small Business Development Centerdirector Ray Bowman and SBDC advisor Jay Tsao collaborated with San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership Business Assistance Manager Annie Wei to coordinate a business event at iDreamspace in City of Industry. A highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding establishing an SBDC presence at iDreamspace to assist area businesses with developing relationships with Chinese companies.

EDC-VC Adds New SBDC Advisor
|
The Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County has added new consultant Joyce Wallach to their team of 30-plus advisors, who all help to provide free one-on-one consulting to local businesses to help area companies strengthen and grow their bottom line.
Wallach brings a broad base of business and corporate law experience to her new role as SBDC advisor. The advisor services are free-of-charge to local businesses through EDC-VC’s SBDC of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. |
