EDC SBDC Opens Satellite Center to Serve Santa Barbara County!
EDC is pleased to announce the opening of our new EDC SBDC Satellite office in Solvang. In partnership with the Solvang Chamber of Commerce and led by Chamber Executive Director Tracy Beard, the EDC SBDC is extending service capacity and assistance to northern Santa Barbara County clients.
Tracy Beard has served as Executive Director of the Solvang Chamber of Commerce since 2015. Prior to joining the Chamber, Tracy worked as Human Resources Manager at Marriott Corporation Restaurants Division in Washington, D.C. specializing in workforce development for over 25 years. Tracy is an advocate for female entrepreneurs and regularly lends her expertise to local nonprofits looking to build their fundraising capacity and improve operational efficiency.

California Lutheran University (CLU) Community Counseling Centers, is offering free counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups impacted by the Thomas/Hill/Woolsey fires and resulting mudslides. Centers are located in Oxnard (2200 Outlet Center Dr. #470) and Westlake Village (31416 Agoura Rd. #115).
If you have been impacted either directly (e.g., lost home, loss of employment, etc.) or indirectly (e.g., relative or co-worker of survivor, business owner dealing with long-term effects, etc.), please contact the CLU Community Counseling Center office at (805)-493-3059 to set up an appointment.
