Economic Development Collaborative (EDC) — Deadline for early bird registration for Nov. 9-10 California Economic Summit is Sept. 30

CALIFORNIA ECONOMIC SUMMIT
California is known for its diverse communities, innovation economy and stunning natural beauty. Yet too many Californians have been left behind with the pandemic widening deep inequities already embedded in our communities. Now more than ever, we need to come together to build regions and communities that work for everyone.
The California Economic Summit, (Nov. 9-10) produced by California Forward (CA FWD) and members of its California Stewardship Network, is built upon the principle that regional approaches to economic problem solving are critical to ensuring all Californians, regardless of zip code, have the opportunity to claim their California Dream.
The Summit continues to be the premier statewide event where business, government, regions, communities and young leaders come together to develop Triple Bottom Line policy solutions that balance:
  • Racial and geographic equity
  • Environmental sustainability
  • Economic growth
The two-day Summit is designed to create a shared economic agenda known as the Roadmap to Shared Prosperity and strengthen the Summit network, setting the stage for collective action in 2022. This year’s summit will focus on key interconnected policy areas fundamental to reimagining a more resilient, and inclusive California.
As a member of the California Stewardship Network, the EDC supports this opportunity to connect with public and private leadership on the development of long-term, equitable recovery plans post COVID-19.
Early Bird Registration for the 2021 Summit Closes Soon! Join the summit in person on November 9-10 or virtually on November 10, and be a part of the growing network of public, private and civic sector leaders who are committed to building regions and communities that work for everyone.
