Dec. 6 — Meadowlark Service League Hosts Charity Outdoor Holiday Boutique

Shop til you drop!  Join Meadowlark Service League on Sunday, December 6, for a “Outdoor Holiday Boutique” at a private home overlooking Santa Rosa Valley. The Meadowlark Service League, like all nonprofit organizations and businesses, has been hit very hard by the pandemic, and have had to face the cancellation of their major fundraising events. Despite the obstacles, the Meadowlark members have been hard at work to create opportunities that will continue to raise funds to benefit the many charities that their events support. “We have been resilient over the past several months, from a ‘Virtual Taste of Camarillo’ to creating decorative succulent pumpkins to raise funds for charity,” noted longtime Meadowlark and event host, Gwen Speakes,“ and we are excited for this event, not only for the many charities we support, but to help support the many local businesses who depended on Meadowlark events over the years and have limited venues now.”

“There is something for everyone on your list,” noted Meadowlark President Linda Hardy, “from beautiful jewelry, cashmere scarves, Cutco knives, candles, sweet treats, holiday wreaths and decor, and so much more. The wonderful thing about the event this year is that so many of our local vendors need our community’s support, and we are happy to provide a place for them to sell their goods to you!” For a complete list of vendors, go to meadowlarkserviceleague.org, and to attend the socially distanced outdoor  boutique head over to 7066 Quito Court on Sunday, December 6, between 10am – 4pm. The outdoor event will be safely socially distanced and masks are required for entry! Event is free to the public.

The Meadowlark Service League is a 501(c)(3) charity, and all contributions are tax deductible. Every dollar raised by the Meadowlark Service League supports local nonprofit organizations as well as several scholarships for high school and college students.
