SANTA PAULA — De Colores Music will present a musical fundraiser from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at Casa Del Mexicano, 218 So. 11 St., Santa Paula.
Entertainment will include performances by about 40 students of Xavier “Big X” Montes, dance groups and maybe even a dance band/group.
Proceeds benefit De Colores Music program, which is part of the De Colores Arts Group.

The museum’s Strings Program, now under the direction of Montes, artist and musician and founder of the De Colores Art Show, offers free guitar lessons to local youth and encourages music- and self-appreciation. Lessons are held every Tuesday afternoon inside the museum galleries and students regularly perform at museum and community events.
