The Danza Mexica Cuauhtemoc Rummage Sale Fundraiser will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 16 at the Bell Arts Factory, 432 No. Ventura Ave., Ventura.
“We are trying to raise money to pay rent at Bell Arts Factory where we teach traditional Aztec dancing. Please come out and support this good cause!,” said Veronica Valadez, “The money raised will not only ensure that we continue to have a space to teach and practice Danza Azteca, but will also help Bell Arts Factory acquire very much needed funds to keep the community room available to all, in addition to financially supporting the after-school free arts programs for children.
“There will be food, yummy treats, music by DJ Lunatic, DANZA, and lots of cheap, used, and cool stuff for sale!!,” Valadez said.
Danza Mexica Cuauhtemoc is a community of people dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Mexica/Azteca culture, ceremonies, warrior dance, accurate history and traditions.
