OXNARD — Brinkman and Company, AAC, an accountancy firm focused on providing expert tax planning, preparation and other accounting services for individuals, families, professionals and businesses, has opened a new office in Oxnard.
Located at 300 E Esplanade Drive, Suite #1680, Oxnard, the office is the firms’ second location in Ventura County. Another office is located at 302 N. Montgomery Street in Ojai.
Brinkman and Company was founded by Danielle Brinkman-Mallare, a Chartered Public Accountant (CPA) with over 20 years of experience helping clients navigate the constantly changing tax system. Her expertise spans tax planning, preparation, and accounting for the service industry, manufacturing, retail and real estate sectors. She also has significant experience with trusts and estates.
A Ventura County native, Brinkman-Mallare holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University Northridge. Her career began in 1997 at a small Oxnard firm, which she acquired in 2000 and led successfully for more than a decade. After the firm merged with the accounting firm Farber Hass Hurley, LLP, in 2016 Brinkman-Mallare led the tax department where she oversaw tax preparation and accounting services for a wide variety of businesses.
Brinkman-Mallare decided to return to her entrepreneurial roots and run her own accounting business, launching Brinkman and Company in 2024. She is excited to welcome new and existing clients to her offices.
Beyond her professional life, Brinkman-Mallare is dedicated to community service. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Channel Islands YMCA, a position she’s held for more than 20 years, and has been an active participant in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County program, serving as a mentor for local youth.
