VENTURA COUNTY — Good Evening, Here is your COVID-19 update from the County of Ventura.

 

Numbers

There are 438 new cases (186 have a lab collection from July 20 or earlier), 4, 554 additional people tested and 3 additional deaths (74 year old male, 98 year old female and 105 year old male with comorbidities). Current hospitalizations are 81 and current ICU is 22.

7 day PCR testing positive rate: 8% (goal 8%)

Average daily tests per 100,000 over past 7 days: 262 (goal 150)

Change in 3-day average COVID-19 hospitalized patients: -3% (goal 10%)

Percent of ventilators currently available: 82% (goal: 25%)

Percent of ICU beds currently available 10% (goal 20%)

14 day case rate per 100,000: 187 (goal 100)

  4. Weekend testing: Friday to Tuesday at Oxnard College, 4000 S. Rose Ave., Oxnard, CA 93033  10-7

*Sites are for those that live or work in Ventura County. No cost. No insurance needed. No appointment needed. If you are symptomatic or if you’ve been exposed to a positive person please consider getting tested.
