Community members celebrated the 64th annual California State Convention of the League of United Latin American Citizens held May 20-22 at the Residence Inn Marriott in Oxnard.
The event was hosted by LULAC District 17 and was scheduled to include a panel discussion and a reception on “Reclaiming our legacy — The fight to save Cultural Studies,” regarding the efforts by members of the Arizona legislature to eliminate cultural studies in that state.
Tracy Saunders of Artisfactions.com was on hand during the convention to capture images of the event.
