Commentary: Hope for tomorrow

By Michael and Stephen Szakos / Guest contributors

Over the past few weeks, we have shared some sad stories with you. Some tragic. Some seeming without hope. There is hope and there are answers!

A family we helped recently purchased a new home after short-selling their home three years ago. One gentlemen called us on a Friday and was going to lose his home on Monday. The sale was stopped over the weekend! There are many other stories of hope. We want to share those with you and assist you in your housing situation.

Please join us at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11 at Café on A on 438 So. A St in Oxnard or call 1-888-700-9658 to reserve your spot for this and/or for an educational event from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Oxnard Public Library, 251 So. A St., Oxnard. Both are free with no cost or obligation to you.

We look forward to meeting you!
