SANTA BARBARA — Channel Wealth, a boutique financial planning and wealth management firm, is proud to announce it has surpassed $1 billion in client assets as of November 2025. To support this growth and enhance client service, the firm has expanded to a new State Street office location and larger office space, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Santa Barbara community.
These achievements coincide with Channel Wealth’s fifth year in business. The firm’s partners have all worked in the Santa Barbara area as financial advisors for many years, in some cases serving the local community for over 25 years. The partners include Justin Anderson, CFP®, CLU®, CRC®; Maxwell Phillips, AIF®; Justin Pollack, RICP®; Chris Snowden, MBA, AIF; and Brett Weichbrod, MBA, RICP. In addition, Joseph O’Flaherty, MBA serves at the Chief Investment Officer.
“We are immensely proud of this expansion and the continued growth it represents,” said Snowden. “Channel Wealth is truly a hometown team—four of our five partners are UCSB graduates with the fifth being a native Santa Barbarian. Building this firm with the loyalty, trust, and support of our community has been incredibly rewarding for everyone here.”
Channel Wealth was founded by experienced financial professionals committed to delivering elevated financial advice and institutional-quality investment support to families and organizations throughout the region. As a Registered Investment Advisor, the firm operates under a fiduciary standard, providing clients with full transparency and recommendations made solely in their best interest. “Being a fiduciary isn’t just a standard we follow, it’s the foundation of trust that defines how we serve our clients and community,” said Phillips.
The firm specializes in comprehensive portfolio management and personalized financial planning, helping clients confidently navigate meaningful and often complex life events—including business sales, sale of investment property, retirement, divorce, and the loss of a spouse. Beyond its work with individuals and families, Channel Wealth also delivers strategic investment solutions to a broad range of institutional clients such as nonprofit organizations, foundations, and endowments.
“Our deep roots in the local nonprofit community give us a unique understanding of the challenges and fiduciary responsibilities institutional investors face,” said Weichbrod. “Because we are actively involved in and supportive of many of these organizations, we are able to provide insights and guidance that meaningfully enhance the value we bring as a service partner.”
Reflecting its long-standing ties to the region, Channel Wealth remains committed to supporting all types of local arts, education, and civic organizations through the donation of time, participation, leadership, and financial resources by its team members.
“As we begin 2026, our team is both grateful and energized,” Anderson added. “We look forward to supporting the Santa Barbara community for many years to come and celebrating many more milestones together.”
