Hi Friend,
We have big news to share – CAUSE is expanding! We’re launching a new chapter in Lompoc and strengthening our Worker Outreach Program across the region. That means we’re hiring bold leaders to join us in the fight for justice!
New Chapter in Lompoc
For the first time in over a decade, CAUSE is launching a new chapter – and we need passionate leaders to help us build power and set the strategic direction with the community. To accomplish this, we’re hiring:
- Community Organizer – Develop grassroots leaders and fight for social, economic, and environmental justice through organizing, coalition building, and advocacy. Learn more here.
- Policy Advocate – Advance policies that uplift working families by providing policy analysis and communications support for organizing campaigns. Apply now.
Lompoc has the largest Latino population in our region without a CAUSE chapter. It’s a city of renters, farmworkers, and frontline communities impacted by pollution – meaning the time to organize is now.
Expanding Worker Outreach Across the Region
We’re also growing our Worker Outreach Program to empower thousands of farmworkers with labor and immigrant rights education. To make this happen, we’re hiring:
- CWOP Manager – Lead outreach teams and mentor a full-time organizer to ensure workers receive key labor rights information. See the role here.
- CWOP Organizer – Oversee an outreach team and engage directly with workers through canvassing, phone-banking, and workshops. Apply today.
Take the Next Step – Join the Movement
These are bold leadership opportunities to build power in the Central Coast and drive change for workers’ rights, environmental justice, and housing justice.
Ready to be part of this movement? Learn more and apply today!

PS: Tomorrow’s Santa Barbara City Council meeting has been postponed. We wish a speedy recovery to Councilmember Friedman. We’ll keep you updated on this, but in the meantime, you can still join us at Ventura City Council tomorrow for a big decision on tenant protections! |
