OXNARD — The Carnegie Art Museum’s CAM Book Club will present a discussion of “Lotería” by Mario Alberto Zambrano at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at 424 So. C St., Oxnard.
In the novel a young girl tells the story of her family’s tragic demise using a deck of cards of the eponymous Mexican game in this spellbinding debut novel that marks the arrival of a powerhouse new talent, the museum reported.
Admission is free for CAM museum members and a $3 suggested donation for non-members.
