Farmers Market Art Booth
FREE Summer Art Fun with the Carnegie Art Museum and Downtown Farmers Market. Look for the Art Booth at the Downtown Farmers Market where Isabel Gonzalez, Oxnard College Intern and CAM Volunteers will share a new art activity encouraging kids to learn and explore their creative side. On July 5th & 9th we will have Storytime with Children’s Librarian Patty Rose from the Oxnard Public Library. Art Booth sponsored by Downtown Oxnard Farmers Market

CAM Book Club
Join fellow art and book lovers at our next CAM Book Club discussion. Book selections focus on making connections with art and history inspired by current exhibitions and the museum’s permanent collection. Book discussions held the third Thursday of the month.

Benefiting Many Mansion’s fundraiser Bowls of Hope 2018

Get creative, be inspired, and have fun painting! The finished bowls will be used for the upcoming Bowls of Hope fundraiser held in November at California Lutheran University. During the party Many Mansions staff will give a brief presentation about the organization discuss why your community involvement is so important!

California Artists from the Mullin Automotive Museum Collection

Carnegie Art Museum is pleased to spotlight the California artists included in the remarkable collections of the Mullin Automotive Museum. Art from the Mullin Automotive Museum featured in this exhibit at Carnegie Art Museum includes works by:  Ben Abril, Charles Arnoldi, Sigrid Burton, Keith Collins, Bruce Cohen, Larry Cohen, Laddie John Dill, Michael Furman, Hank Pitcher, Art Reid, and Jack Schultz. The Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard is noted for its exquisite collection of classic French touring automobiles and grand prix race cars.  It includes stunning displays of period furniture, paintings and ceramics that pay tribute to the Art Deco era of pre-war Europe.
