Carnegie Art Museum update for July 20

Summer education programs sizzle… don’t miss the last Free Farmer’s Market Art Booth and Art Lab!

Art Lab classes are where kids and their grownups can share the joy of learning and making art together. Classes include storytelling, observation activities, and art making. Art Lab is an environment of experimentation and discovery, where everyone is encouraged to follow his or her own vision.

FREE Summer Art Fun with the Carnegie Art Museum continues at the Downtown Farmers Market. Look for the Art Booth at the Downtown Farmers Market where Isabel Gonzalez, Oxnard College Intern and CAM Volunteers will share a new art activity encouraging kids to learn and explore their creative side. California Artists from the Mullin Automotive Museum Collection

Spotlighting the California artists included in the remarkable collections of the Mullin Automotive Museum.  Carnegie Art Museum is honored to display art by:  Ben Abril, Charles Arnoldi, Sigrid Burton, Keith Collins, Bruce Cohen, Larry Cohen, Laddie John Dill, Michael Furman, Hank Pitcher, Art Reid, and Jack Schultz.

The Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard is noted for its exquisite collection of classic French touring automobiles and grand prix race cars.  It includes stunning displays of period furniture, paintings and ceramics that pay tribute to the Art Deco era of pre-war Europe.

Carnegie members and their guests are invited to a semi-private tour of the Mullin Automotive Museum an oasis of art and automobiles paying tribute to the art deco era when industrial themes blended with design innovations.
