OXNARD — The Carnegie Art Musem will present “Artist’s Gallery Talk — Carmen Abelleira — Reclaimed Stories” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 at 424 S. C St, Oxnard.
The creator of the museum’s newest “Celler” exhibit, “Reclaimed Stories,” she will share the backstories of how her childhood in Cuba, inspiration from found junk, and the creative traditions of South America, India and Africa, entwined to become artistic tales. Admission is $5, free to members.
