Carlye Salon in Santa Barbara Offers a ‘Day of Love’ on Feb. 5 for Those Impacted by the Thomas Fire & Flood

SANTA BARBARA —  Carlyle, a full-service salon and style bar in Santa Barbara, is hosting a ‘Day of Love’ on February 5, 2018, offering a full day of complimentary salon services for those impacted by the Thomas Fire and Flood.

The Carlyle team, led by salon founder Lisa Gaede, will partner with Bassett Salon Solutions, for salon products, and Los Arroyos Mexican Restaurant, for all-day snacks.

“Our team discussed our options of how we can help with this tragedy in our community,” says Gaede. “This felt like the most natural thing we could offer the people of Montecito who are having so much heartache.”

Reservations are required, but the services are no-charge to Montecito residents who have been affected or displaced due to the disaster. Salon and style bar services will include haircuts, color, blowouts, kid’s cuts, express manicures, men’s cuts, and balayage highlights.

“Our collective hearts are hurting, and we want to offer a loving space where our neighbors — who now may not have time or money — can be pampered by our team for an hour or two,” added Gaede. “Our industry is unique in this way. People can feel tremendously better when they have a hair service — this is because of the service itself but it also has to do with the connection and the touch.”
