Cal Poly’s Center for Health Research seeking participants to conduct study to reduce sedentary screen time among adults

SAN LUIS OBISPO — Cal Poly’s Center for Health Research and ASU’s College of Health Solutions are seeking participants to conduct a 16-week NIH-funded project aimed at reducing sedentary screen time among adults.

The research study uses cutting-edge technology to identify the best strategy for changing sedentary screentime habits & improving health.

The study is seeking individuals who are:

  • 23 to 64 years old
  • Own a smartphone or table
  • Have WiFi or unlimited data plan
  • Want to decrease their sedentary screen time

Participation is entirely voluntary, and participants will be compensated for the time they dedicate to the study with up to $100 and a free Fitbit.
