VENTURA COUNTY — The Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) is excited to announce Gustavo Almarosa as their new Director of Real Estate Development.
The Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) is Ventura County’s largest developer of affordable housing with an additional project in Santa Barbara County, and is best known for providing comprehensive, well-designed affordable housing services with community economic development activities.
“We are thrilled to welcome Gustavo to our team,” said CEDC’s Chief Executive Officer Margarita De Escontrias. “We are looking forward to see all the great things CEDC will accomplish with him on board.”
Almarosa will be leading the CEDC’s Real Estate Development Department (REDD), whose primary function is to complete the acquisition, finance, and pre-construction stages of affordable housing development. His last position as a Senior Project Manager at AMCAL Multi-Housing Inc, allows him to bring a vast experience in all aspects of development and outreach.
“The CEDC is an organization that I’ve been inspired by for over 10 years,” said Almarosa. “I highly believe in the work they have completed, historically, and given the immense need for affordable housing in the State of California and locally here in Ventura County, I’m really looking forward to working with the team here at the CEDC and the opportunity to work with the next generation of developers.”
