AGOURA — Members throughout the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley (BGCGCV) recently participated in the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Fine Arts Contest.  This year, the Rocky & Lon Morton Club located on the Sequoia Middle School Campus in Newbury Park hosted the competition.

Some 77 youth participated in this year’s contest and had an opportunity to display their artwork in the gallery at the Morton Club.  Members of the art community, local art teachers from schools and community centers and members of the community served at this year’s judges.

The winners ranged in ages from 6 to 15 and are members at the AC Stelle Boys & Girls Club in Calabasas, the Marion & John E. Anderson Club in Thousand Oaks, the Dr. Richard Grossman Club in Calabasas, the Cal Johnston Club in Thousand Oaks and the Morton Club.
