THOUSAND OAKS — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley (BGCGCV) is excited to announce its newest board member, Judith Sanchez López.
López has over 30 years of experience as an expert in cosmetics and as a high-level executive. She is skilled in leading sales teams in her previous role as Sales Division Manager, now supervising the corporate brand as the Chief Marketing Officer for JAFRA Cosmetics Int’l. She strives to nourish brand relevancy and inspire the brand’s consumers and consultants alike.
Her mission as a newfound board member of BGCGCV is to teach children to believe in themselves. “I am able to share my experience, and I’m really good in terms to understand the needs of education, because I know what companies are looking for. I think I’m going to inspire the kids, because they can see themselves in me.”
Beyond JAFRA, López is a mother of two and is a strong believer in investing in the lives of children. “These kids are like jewels, and I can mentor them to become the leaders of the future. Because remember, my promise is, you are going to build the leaders of the future, not only for us, but for the world. So when I’m not here at least I leave something, you know?” She also applauded the importance that BGCGCV puts into teaching children to better learn how to use technology in tandem with their school work. “We need to learn how to do teamwork through the digital world. This new technology is needed because the knowledge requires new skills and those new skills are what we have to teach to the kids”.
