VENTURA — The next milestone of Ventura County’s June 7 Primary Election is being reached with 10 Vote Centers opening Saturday, May 28, 2022, followed by 41 additional Vote Centers opening Saturday, June 4, 2022. Ventura County registered voters will have a total of 51 Vote Centers and 11 possible days of in-person voting available.
For voters that prefer to vote in person, the California Voter’s Choice Act is structured to give voters more time to vote than ever before. For ten days prior to the Election there must be at least one Vote Center for every 50,000 registered voters. For three days prior to the Election there must be one Vote Center for every 10,000 registered voters. All Vote Centers are open Election Day and voters can vote at any Vote Center throughout the County.
Registered voters are encouraged to use the early, pre-election day voting options to avoid crowds. Voters can drop their ballot in one of the 38 Official Ballot Drop Boxes located throughout the County. The postage-paid return envelope allows voters to return their ballots by USPS mail at no cost to them (all ballots must be postmarked no later than June 7 and be received no later than June 14). And, of course, if you prefer to come vote early in person, you can come to any Vote Center on one of the days before June 7, Election Day. Election Day is when the Ventura County Elections Division anticipates the largest crowds.
“We are definitely hoping voters will take full advantage of the early opportunities they have to use their preferred method of voting,” said Mark Lunn, Ventura County Clerk-Recorder, Registrar of Voters. “We are happy to be able to offer Ventura County voters these early, safe and secure options to exercise their vote – no matter how they choose to return their ballot.”
The Ventura County Government Center Vote Center is open 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. All other Vote Centers will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. up until Election Day. On Election Day, all Vote Centers will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Additional Voter Information — Vote Centers will offer Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant touchscreen devices and voting assistance. El Condado de Ventura abrira 51 centros de votacion para la eleccion primaria del 7 de Junio 2022
VENTURA — La proxima meta de la eleccion primaria del condado de Ventura para el 7 de Junio es abrir 10 centros de votacion que abriran el Sabado 28 de Mayo 2022, seguido por 41 centros de votacion mas que abriran el Sabado 4 de Junio 2022. Los votantes registrados tendran un total de 51 centros para votar y 11 dias posibles para ir a votar.
Para los votantes que prefieren votar en persona, el California Voter’s Choice Act esta construido para darles mas tiempo a los votantes de ir a votar. Diez dias antes de la eleccion tiene que haber al menos un centro de votacion para cada 50,000 votantes registrados. Por 3 dias consecutivos antes de la eleccion tiene que haber un centro para votar por cada 10,000 votantes registrados. Todos los centros de votacion estaran abiertos el dia de la eleccion y los votantes pueden votar en cualquier centro de votacion por todo el condado.
Se les aconseja a todos los votantes registrados que voten antes del dia de la eleccion para evitar una multitud de gente.
