PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT – Ventura County Area Agency on Aging, Letters of Support Campaign

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to show care and compassion to those who need it most! The *Ventura County Area Agency on Aging (VCAAA) hosts a Letters of Support Campaign, year round. In partnership with Meals on Wheels America, VCAAA helps bring messages of encouragement to older adults and people with disabilities living in Ventura County.

More than 30,000 older adults in our community are living alone. This campaign is a chance to send heartfelt letters or cards that remind them they are loved and supported.

The VCAAA also encourages families and neighbors to check in with loved ones who may benefit from similar letters or help with errands like grocery shopping. Together, we can make this Valentine’s season brighter for everyone.

Send your letters to:

  • 646 County Square Drive, Suite 100, Ventura, CA 93003
  • Note, “Letters of Support Campaign” on the envelope.
