A FALTA DE PAN, BUENA SON TORTAS

Don Toribio, a tailor who wanted to prick with his needles every person and business that smells of government. Narciso, one of his clients, very well connected with the newly opened cabinet, has hidden affairs with the daughter of Don Toribio, Emilia. In order to pave the way before the engagement, Narciso uses as a strategy the possibility of “recommending” his possible father-in-law for an appointment. Don Toribio, a patriot, looking towards becoming a brand-new minister, soon begins to refine the details of his government plan … to keep a generous part of the national budget.
