BUELLTON — The Partnership for Excellence announces its annual convening, “Forward Together: Navigating Today for Tomorrow, ” on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott in Buellton.
Designed for nonprofit executives and funders, the one-day forum will feature keynote speakers, fresh data on the sector, and interactive dialogues to strengthen collaboration and leadership across Santa Barbara County.
Program Highlights
? Keynote Address: “Indispensable: Why Nonprofits Matter Now More Than Ever” by Geoff Green, CEO of CalNonprofits.
? Research Preview: Preliminary findings from the 2025 State of the Nonprofit Sector report by Drs. Natalie Jones and Tarek Azzam (UCSB).
? Funder–Nonprofit Dialogue: A moderated exchange with leaders from philanthropy and community organizations, including Teresa Alvarez, Erica Jane Flores, Jon Clark, and Morgan Bennett.
? Community Conversations & Networking: Afternoon breakouts, closing reflections, and a Sponsors’ Reception on the Mission Terrace.
Registration: $150 (through Sept. 5) Includes all sessions, lunch, reception, learning materials, and free round-trip SB Airbus shuttle service from Santa Barbara or Santa Maria.
