OXNARD — Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin, in collaboration with the Oxnard Police Activities League (PAL), and the Ventura County Public Health, will present the second annual K-12 Resource Fair “Transitions to the Future” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at the Oxnard PAL Gym, 350 S. K St., Oxnard.
The event is designed to assist parents and students make their educational transition successful, provide families with information on social/health services available to them locally, and offer the opportunity to discuss legislation and local issues important to them. All students, their parents/guardians, and professionals are invited to attend.
The fair will feature representatives from educational programs, health services, afterschool recreation programs, referral sources, and vocational programs.
