Bilingual report: Registration suggested for Nov. 5 college family conference at CSU Channel Islands

The Oxnard Union High School District will present the “College Family Conference: Making it Happen,” from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at CSU Channel Islands. Advance registration is suggested.

Parents and students in the 9th and 10th grade can attend the free conference where they will learn valuable information regarding higher education. There will be Spanish and English presentations on “Getting Prepared for College,’ “Paying for College,” a college campus tour and experiencing college life.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Oxnard Union High School District presenta “Conferencia Familiar: ¡Házloa Posible!” Sábado, 5 de Nov. del 2011, 8:00 a.m. a 2:00 p.m., California State University, Channel Islands.

Padres y estudiantes de los grados 9 y 10, acompánenos a una conferencia que será gratuita en donde obtendrá información importante sobre la educación avanzada. Habrá presentaciones en español e Inglés.

Se ofrecerá desayuno continental y almuerzo. Desafortuadamente no hobrá cuidado de niños.
