OXNARD — A “Movement, Balance and Health!” conference for older adults will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27 at the Oxnard Family Circle ADHC at “The Palms” Outlet Center, 2100 Outlet Center Drive, Unit 280, Oxnard.
The event will feature a welcome by Supervisor John C. Zaragoza, presentations by Dr. Thomas Duncan, Trauma co-director for the Ventura County Medical Center; Rigoberto Vargas, director of Ventura County Public Health; Dr. Miguel Cervantes, director of Las Islas Family Medical Group, nutrition presentation, Zumba and Tai Chi demonstrations, raffles and prizes, lunch and refreshments.
Presented by the Ventura County Elderly Fall Prevention Coalition.
